Wine & Food Suggestions
Like wine drinking,  the most important thing with food and wine pairing is to eat and drink what you like.  There is no absolute rule to food and wine pairing merely suggestions.  I like to think of wine as a spice something used to help enhance the dish to be served.  Keeping this in mind look for characteristics in the wine that match those in the sauce you are preparing or accompaniments you are serving.  A seafood dish with a splash of lemon or lime goes well with a Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio/Gris wine that reflects the same citrus component. Grilled beef goes with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot because the tannins in the wine break down the protein in the meat.  Whichever wine you choose to serve with your meal remember it's all about what YOU enjoy.
